BPPOP is the newest girl band in the K-pop industry and debuted a few days ago with some show whose name I can't remember and have now released the video for their single 'Today'.

The song from my POV:

The song is basically about a normal girl in love. About the anticipation and the hope with which she wakes up every morning. And with that hope that maybe, just maybe her crush will ask her out today. Glowing with happiness, she realizes that she hardly needs BB cream (which I by the way so need to try out! sorry! That was off the topic! Lol!) To make her face look shiny. She keeps looking into the mirror to check her appearance after all looking her best for the boy is important. She feels light and airy and barely notices anything. She's sure she'll get a love confession and knows that she likes the boy back. However the boy hesitates and so the girl is flustered, obviously, and hence the "What to do? What’s there to think about? I’m telling you that I like you this much." part of the song.  The whole song goes on the same note -  Today I’m pretty for a reason, today I just want you to declare your love for me, why can't you understand the fact that I want you 'coz I love you.

The song:

The song is cutesy cute but I think they can do better than this. For a first song it's pretty good and they have AMAZING voices but this song just does not do any justice to them. When you first listen to the song, you'll have to cover your ears a bit coz they have really high pitched voices. But they're a bunch of young, energetic ladies who can dance. I hope their next video comes out better than this and does some justice. The song as a whole has a bit of an addictive quality to it no matter how high pitched and girly it is. But one thing I did notice - the cuckoo clock noise (couldn't find any other name for it) resembles the noise in Fat Cat's "Is Being Pretty Everything" music video. But then again that's a negligible detail! Lol!
